The Ministry of Water Resources, Government of Pakistan, is offering exciting career opportunities under the PSDP Project titled “Capacity Building of the Office of Pakistan Commissioner for Indus Waters.” These positions are available on a contract basis and aim to strengthen the country’s water resource management. Qualified and experienced individuals are encouraged to apply for the following vacancies:

1. Financial Management Specialist / Procurement Specialist (PPS-9)

Number of Positions: 1
Age Limit: Up to 45 years
Qualification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA (Finance), Commerce, CA, ACCA, or ACMA from a recognized institution by HEC.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, and similar activities. A minimum of 3 years of experience in PSDP projects is mandatory.
    Salary: PKR 306,250 (Lump sum package)

2. GIS Analyst (PPS-9)

Number of Positions: 1
Age Limit: Up to 40 years
Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in GIS/RS, Geomatics, Geography, or closely related fields from an HEC/PEC recognized university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with GIS software like ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth Engine. Preference will be given to those with water sector GIS/RS expertise.
    Salary: PKR 306,250 (Lump sum package)

3. Hydraulic Engineer (PPS-9)

Number of Positions: 1
Age Limit: Up to 40 years
Qualification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (18 years) in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • At least 5 years of experience in water resource planning, management, and operations.
    Salary: PKR 306,250 (Lump sum package)

4. Hydrologist (PPS-9)

Number of Positions: 1
Age Limit: Up to 40 years
Qualification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (18 years) in Civil or Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in water resource management and operations.
    Salary: PKR 306,250 (Lump sum package)

5. Assistant Director (IT) (PPS-8)

Number of Positions: 1
Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT, including expertise in MIS development, digitization, and office automation.
    Salary: PKR 218,750 (Lump sum package)
